Compact single-pole NO contactors for AC and DC (bidirectional) with rated insulation voltage up to 1500 V. Current up to 2500 A; conditional thermal current up to 500 A; short-term current up to 3000 A

As a bidirectional DC contactor, the C310 switches high power ranges within a small area. Its discharge capacity of up to 2500 A is necessary for discharging intermediate circuits through a resistor.
In the C310A/500 design, the contactor can continuously carry current up to 500A. In the event of a short circuit, 3000A can flow even for one second without contact sticking. In this way, the contactor retains its full function to switch off high power ranges when necessary - regardless of the direction of the current.
This complete bidirectionality is important for systems with a charging and discharging process, such as battery networks or electric vehicles. Other typical applications are DC circuits in inverters, junction boxes in photovoltaic systems or control of battery storage systems.
